Michi Slaughter

Michi Slaughter currently serves as a Director-at-Large. 

Michi is a member of the Training & Development, Special Events, Social Media, Elections, Scholarship, and Fundraising Committees. She loves to volunteer and help the organization in any way she can.

Michi is assigned to the Los Angeles Police Department as a Senior Systems Analyst I in the Applications Development & Support Division. She has worked as as civil servant for 19 years.

Michi joined LAABP as a means of connecting with other like-minded city employees and to participate and volunteer in various LAABP activities. 

Michi has earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Information Systems from the Los Angeles Pacific University and is currently completing her Master of Public Administration from the University of Southern California, Sol Price School of Public Policy. She is passionate about enacting social change in her community and assisting city employees with career development and advancement.

To Michi, our motto “Together we can accomplish what none of us can do alone” signifies the power of unity. We are so much stronger working and building together.

Michi loves theater arts, traveling, live music, and spending time with her close friends and family.
